Jane and Mike dropped us off at the airport with time to spare. We were lucky...there were no lines and getting thru security was a breeze. We had a good lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and off we went to Dallas. Charlie got the window seat...
Stop at Dallas Fort Worth. we do like it better than Chicago. Two hour lay over...not bad. Time for a glass of wine
The flight to Heathrow was actually pretty good. It is a redesigned 777-300. The seats were fairly comfortable and the entertainment is much improved......now on to the HELL of Heathrow.
Since we have to change terminals, we had to again go thru security. They made a big deal of one of our carry ons that had all of our electronic stuff. Had to open everything. After that...just sit and wait about 4 hours for our flight to Amsterdam.
Easy flight to Amsterdam. Arrived on time and at the hotel by 6:30PM. Met a couple, John and June Indorf that will be on the cruise with us. Had a drink at the Sky Bar and then to bed...Rich and Delia arrive tomorrow
